Posted July212014 at 1000pm Has anyone had an experience with the RWP on a close cooled PCM engine (mine is 06) going bad, regardless of the impeller. I've put two impellers in, and pulled everything off the intake side and I'm running a hose straight to a bucket, and it won't pull a prime. It has

Oct 20, 20100183;32;If these items are not happening, replacing the cam sensor will do no good, UNLESS, you unplug the cam sensor, turn key on and check engine/fuel pump works. There is also a possibility that there is a short in a 5 volt wire at the transmission. This would shut the PCM down, no check engine light/no codesnothing from PCM.

Progressing cavity pumping (PCP) systems derive their name from the unique, positive displacement pump that evolved from the helical gear pump concept first developed by Rene Moineau in the late 1920s. Although these pumps are now most commonly referred to as progressing cavity (PC) pumps, they also are called screw pumps or Moineau pumps.

Explanation. Your car's fuel pump is used to supply gas to the engine's fuel injectors weather it be gasoline or diesel fuels. Depending on the fuel system design you can have one or more styles of pumps in various locations both mechanical and electric models.
The hand pump is a more rugged version of what's built into the Blue Streak, and it goes up much higher 3,000 psi. What makes it more difficult is that the guns you will fill often don't drop below about 2,000 psi, which is higher than the highest pressure the Blue Streak generates. You will pump up to around 3,000 psi for many PCPs, though

What is a powertrain and what does a powertrain warranty cover? The powertrain includes the engine, transmission, and drivetrain, and a powertrain warranty covers the cost to repair or replace these components should they malfunction or be damaged. This is different than a bumpertobumper warranty, which often doesnt last as long as a powertrain warranty but covers more systems and parts.
